Raul Lujan
September 2, 1949 — July 12, 2015
Dear Friends,
On July 12, 2015 Raul Lujan’s strongly fought battle with illness has ended. He is survived by his wife Jacquelyn, children Stephen and Rachel, sister Magaly Lopez Soubelette, as well as several nephews and nieces. Born in Havana, Cuba, he lived in Miami for many years before moving to Maryland. He attended the University of Miami and received a graduate degree from Loyola University. Raul served as a financial officer for Bon Secour and Lifebridge health care organizations. Raul was an avid football fan of the Miami Dolphins and Hurricanes. He had a great love of all things related to the ocean, and a passion for travel, music, and motorcycle riding.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial donations to Gilchrist Hospice of Columbia.
Visitation and services will be held at Candle Light Funeral Home. A memorial service will also be held in the South Florida area at a later date. If you would like, please make a comment or sign the guest book.
