Rhoda Laurel Corr

Rhoda Laurel White Young Corr, 85, of Daytona Beach Shores and Holly Hill, FL and formerly Howard County, MD died Sunday, May 17, 2015. Born in Charleston, WVA, she was the 11th of 13 children of Haskel White and Margaret Eva Layman White. She worked as a telephone operator Silver Spring, MD in the 1950's and was later employed as a real estate agent in Howard County.
She was predeceased by husband Claude Corr, an Army Air Corps WWII veteran, and was formerly married to the late William H. Young of Columbia, MD.
She resided in Florida for the past 34 years, then recently at Elternhaus in Dayton, MD, where she received excellent care.
She is survived by daughters Linda M. Winkler and husband Gregory of Sykesville, MD; Katherine A. Young of Raleigh, NC; Penelope Young Carrasquillo and husband Orlando of Williamsburg, VA; and son William H. Young III and wife Samantha. She is also survived by grandchildren Wendy Dickey, Heidi Thomas, Sara Raab, Bridget Raab, William Young IV, Konnor Young and 6 great-grandchildren in addition to sisters Lily Oatfield and Betty Bailey and several nieces and nephews.
