Robert Charles Callahan

Bob was a very caring person. He dedicated his life to helping people.
He was a diocesan priest for 25 years. He was successful in helping the youth of the parish by encouraging them to participate in sports or join the choir that he formed.
After deciding to come out of the priesthood, he worked for the prison system to rehabilitate inmates.
A few years later, he married and helped raise three young children. He was happily married for 38 years.
He was then employed at CCBC. He enjoyed his job working at Continuing Education for the elderly.
His hobbies were reading and golfing. One of the highlights of his life was getting a “hole in one” at the Rolling Road Golf Club.
Bob lived a long and rewarding life.
