Robert Ewing Dunn

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Ewing Dunn, 90, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and esteemed Mechanical Engineer. Born on September 15, 1933, in Pennsylvania, Robert peacefully passed away on June 23, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Robert leaves behind his loving wife, Shirley Dunn, devoted children, Sharon Taylor (Bob) and Gregory Dunn, and beloved granddaughters, Rachel Sullivan and Laura Sullivan. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Laura Dunn. His presence will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know him.

Family and friends may gather at the Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Rd. Catonsville, MD 21228 on Thursday, June 27, 2024 for a visitation from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service taking place at 12:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at the Poplar Springs Cemetery, 911 Watersville Rd. Mt Airy, MD 21771.
