Sarah Jane (Howd) Hill, 92, of Ellicott City, passed away on January 26, 2018. She died peacefully at home, with her family by her side. Sally, as she was known to friends and family, loved doing needlework, reading, crossword puzzles and being by the ocean. She adored being with people and had a wonderful, dry sense of humor. Her greatest joy was spending Christmas Eve in the company of all three generations of her family. Sally is pre-deceased by her husband James and oldest daughter, Susan Koerner (Harry). She will be deeply missed by her son Thomas (Nancy), daughter Jamie Sweadner (Mark), five loving grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
