Beloved husband of Maureen Canion (nee Mahoney), Loving father of Staci Lebischak and her husband Mike. Dear grandfather of Jonah,Jakob,Sydney and Jayson. Son of the late Bishop Samuel & the late Dr. Minnie Canion- Brother of Bishop Rodney Samuel Canion, Belinda Fay Canion, Evangelist Jackie Jenkins McAdoo, and Evangelist Gwendolyn Kenley. As well as numerous nephews and nieces.
