Sherman M. Casey

On Friday, September 8, 2023, Sherman M. Casey passed away in Baltimore, Maryland. Born to Dennis and Mary Casey (nee: O'Kelly) in Troy, New York on Friday, June 14, 1935; he was 88.

Sherman was a man of faith and family. His legacy is one of love, compassion, and strength. His influence on those fortunate enough to have known him will forever be cherished. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his remarkable spirit.

Survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Julie, Sherman also leaves behind their children. Son, Christopher (Dawn), and their children: Scott (Allie and great-grandson Owen); Logan, and Brennan (Jenna); and his daughters, Maura (Keith) and their children, Aidan and Maeve; and Meghan (Bill) and their children, Liam, Makaila, and Hunter.

Family and friends may gather at the Candle Light Funeral Home Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark Church on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00am. Inurnment will be private.
