Shirley Ann Mejia

Shirley Ann Mejia (nee Miros) passed away peacefully on June 15, 2021. She was 76. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 1st, 1944 to the late Edward Miros and Helen Miros (Hoczak). She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Alejandro Mejia, and her dear sister, Elaine Stone.

She is survived, and will be greatly missed, by her loving children, Miguel Mejia (Anjuli), and Diane Johnston (Stephen). Grandchildren Hope, Noah, Ivan, Alisha & Aiden. She is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. Her loss will be felt by many cherished family and friends.

Shirley was a very talented member of the St. Agnes Hospital staff in the late 80s, early 90s. She worked for several years as a registered radiologic technologist at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Due to rheumatoid arthritis and spinal stenosis, she was forced to end the career that she loved much too early.
