Susan Marie Sosnowski

Susan Marie Sosnowski was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 6, 1949 to the late John and Hedwidge Sosnowski. She passed peacefully on March 15, 2021.  She was 72.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Sosnowski and Hedwidge M. Sosnowski, as well as her brother, John F. Sosnowski and his wife, Susan.

She is survived, and will be greatly missed, by her loving siblings, Rita Limerick (Robert) and James Sosnowski (Donna), as well as her close friend, Joan Winchester. She is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews as well as many great-nieces and  great-nephews. Her loss will be felt by many other cherished family and friends.

Susan touched many young children’s lives during her career as an elementary school teacher.  She enjoyed golfing and gardening, was an active member of the St. Agnes Catholic parish, and was a caring friend to all she met.

The family has requested that any charitable donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Susan Sosnowski.

Family & friends may gather at Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Rd., Catonsville, MD 21228 for a public visitation on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5422 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD 21229 on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Lorraine Park Cemetery.
