Theresa Regina Adelsberger

Theresa R. Adelsberger was born in Ft. Meade, Maryland on May 31, 1954, to James and Regina Martin. She met our Lord on September 10, 2022, at the age of 68. She is married to her high school sweetheart, William “Bill” G. Adelsberger, Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents: James Thomas Martin & Regina Theresa Martin (nee O’Doherty); sister, Rita F. Kurth and nephew, Patrick T. Kurth.

She is survived by her 7 children: Kathleen A. Kleintank (Nathaniel), Jeffrey T. Adelsberger (Jennifer), William G. Adelsberger III, Edwin O. Adelsberger, Francis O. Adelsberger (Kathryn), Joseph M. Adelsberger (Erin), and Noelle T. Adelsberger. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Lily K. Adelsberger, Joshua A. Kleintank, Benjamin G. Adelsberger, Sullivan J. Adelsberger, and Grace J. Adelsberger.

Theresa also has 3 surviving sisters Bridghe Martin, M. Eileen Warfield (Russell), and Patricia “Murphy” Adcock as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

As for career goals, Theresa only wanted to be a mother. She cherished her family. Her children were her first priority, until her grandchildren came and gave her even more joy! Her children say that she softened as she became a GG. Her grandchildren were even given ice cream for dinner. Theresa also loved babysitting and these children became part of the family.

Visitation will be held at the Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Rd. Catonsville, MD 21228 on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 5422 Old Frederick Rd, Baltimore, MD 21228 on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:00am.
