Dean Clarke Profile Photo

Dean Brian Clarke of Catonsville, Maryland, died on December 21, 2017, at the age of 53 years.   Dean was survived by his parents, Dominic Vincent Clarke and Monika Lauf Clarke; his siblings Bruce Clarke and Lisa Clarke Autry; his children Emily Clarke, Maddie Clarke and Luci Clarke; and his partner Sharon Rosewag.

In addition to being a son, brother, husband, and father, Dean was a friend to so many.  He had numerous passions:  music, photography, gardening, family, but none greater than his daughters—and they three were the lights of his life.  He was an awesome father.

What else is to be said about Dean?  He was definitely “one of a kind”.  Dean was uniquely Dean.  He had a way about him—a fun, care-free spirit, which is why so many people loved him.  He always said he did not need much.  "As long as I have a roof over my head, food, friends and family, I am good."  He enjoyed making people smile and laugh; and whether he had known you for 35 years or just met you, he treated you like his best friend.  He was loyal to people:  whether retaining friendships with many of his high school classmates or performing his beloved music for many years with his band mates.  And, because of this, many people considered him, too, their friend.  If you had the opportunity to know him, consider yourself blessed.

We cannot express how thankful we are that Dean had so many caring people in his life.  Dean would be happy to know so many reached out this week to our family with kind words and stories of how he touched their lives.  Our family will cherish knowing that Dean inspired so many lives so positively.

Come celebrate the wonderful life of our good friend, talented musician, loving family man and father Dean Dawg Clarke. In lieu of a funeral service, his family has decided they would rather create a gathering of family and friends to remember the many good times we had with Dean Dawg while he was here on earth. So come out and join us for an evening of Food, Drink & Live Music (just the way Dean would want it). There will be a Cash Bar, Heavy Appetizers and lots of good jams provided by 4 of the bands Dean was currently involved with:

Tentative schedule:
InDEADnation (5 to 5:45)
Gypsy Dawg (6 to 6:45)
Dawgone (7 to 7:45)
Stewbone (8 to 9)

I know this was all thrown together last minute, but please know there will be another bigger, more planned out event for Dean down the road, but his family wanted to do something sooner rather than later....so we hope to see you on Saturday!!!! PEACE!!!
