Hemant Patel

On Wednesday, April 1st, 2020, loving friend and father of two, Hemant Jagdishbhai Patel, passed away at age of 64. Hemant was born in Gujarat,  India on March 22, 1956 to Jagdishbhai and Pushpaben Patel. He received his Faculty of Commerce degree in Nadiad. After pursuing higher education, he moved to America in 1987 and had two beautiful children with Parulben Patel. He began work as an Accountant and Operation Manager for the Office of Home Energy Programs through the Maryland Department of Human Resources, and worked there until his death.

Hemant had a passion for music and art. He loved spending time drinking wine outdoors, walking through parks, listening to live music, and spending quality time with his son. He was known for his lively personality and kind heart. He is survived by his son, Amar, his daughter, Reena, his sister Kaminiben, and his niece, Radhika.
