James "Butch" Michael Higgins

James "Butch" Michael Higgins was born in Washington, D.C. on December 7, 1941 to James and Rita Higgins. He passed on June 17, 2021, he was 79.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James John Higgins and Rita Moira Higgins (Gannon).

He is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Christine Ann Higgins. As well as his loving children, Renee Edmonds (John) and Brandon Higgins (Meagan). Including his cherished siblings, Maureen Higgins, Pat Higgins (Kay), Rita Timourian (Greg), Chris Higgins (Terry) and adoring grandchildren, Brenna Edmonds, Savannah Edmonds, John Edmonds, Jr., Erin Higgins and Corie Higgins. His loss will be felt by many other caring family and friends.

Family & friends may gather at Candle light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Rd., Catonsville, MD 21228 for a public visitation on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 30 Melvin Ave. Catonsville, MD 21228 on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow mass at Druid Ridge Cemetery. The family has requested that donations be made to Phoenix Recovery Academy and Gilchrist Hospice .
