Jean Rose Cascio

Jean Rose Cascio (Jeannie), 83, of Brooklyn, MD, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025 at Harbor Hospital Hospice. She was born December 29, 1941 in Baltimore City, MD. She is the daughter of the late Estelle Sypula and father Charles Cascio. She is preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy and Bernice, brother Frank, and eldest daughter Yvonne. Jean is survived by her sisters Vivian, Carolyn, and Joanne, and her beloved children Wesley, Gary, Deborah, Kristina and Kimberly. Her family keeps growing, now with 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

She had many interests which included video games especially Mario and Wii bowling. Wii Bowling was her favorite after she couldn't handle 10 pin balls anymore and rocked at it. She would bowl with the ladies for hours. She also enjoyed country line dancing and karaoke. She was an avid reader, mostly mystery but sometimes needed a bit of romance with her mystery. VC Andrews and Nora Roberts were her favorites.

She will be remembered, missed, and loved forever.

Friends and family may gather at Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228, on Saturday, March 1, 2025 for a memorial gathering from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
