Martha Ruth Edmonds

On Saturday, February 17, 2024, Martha Edmonds, beloved daughter of Thomas and Carrie Edmonds, passed away after a brief illness. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Jenkins; nephews, James Jenkins and Daniel (Teresa) Jenkins; great-nephews, Ethan Jenkins and Henry Jenkins; extended family, Greg and Cindy Cosgrove; and "grandchildren," Sarah Cosgrove and Connor Cosgrove.

Martha retired after 36 years of service with the Department of Defense. She enjoyed traveling and visited countries in Europe and the Middle East. Her hobbies included reading, crafts, and knitting, and over the years, she was a proud dog mom to many beloved pets, including Fluffy, Inky, Dimples, and Stassi.

Family and friends may call at Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm. Funeral service to be held at 2:30 pm. Interment will be private.
