Stuart Matthew Harrison was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 16, 1975. He passed unexpectedly on November 5, 2024, at the age of 49. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Harrison and Linda Vidziunas {Eggleston}.

Stuart is survived by his loving wife, Christy, greatest gift and son Tristan, and devoted stepmother, Suzanne Harrison.

Stuart touched so many lives, and his loss will be deeply felt by his aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, cousins, sister, and other caring family and friends.

Stuart graduated from Hargrave Military Academy in 1993. He enlisted in the United States Air Force working as a jet mechanic on the A-10 Warthogs. He joined the ranks of UPS, expanding his career into management and operations, and at the same time, enlisting in the United States Army reserves. In 2003, he completed his bachelor’s degree from Towson University in Sociology and Human Behavioral Studies. He obtained his Master’s Certificate from American Military University in Asymmetric Warfare Studies. Stuart honorably served in the military as a HUMINT officer for twenty years. Rising through the ranks, Stuart was deployed numerous times between Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, ultimately retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer with the United States Army in 2015. After retirement, Stuart continued to work at Ft. George G. Meade as a contractor, pursued more education, and wrote and published two books, The Iraqi Collector and In the Dark.

When Stuart and Christy met, they shared many adventures before and after they were married in 2008. They enjoyed traveling to their favorite beaches, drove cross-country, and traveled to Las Vegas several times with his father and stepmother. In 2011, their family grew when they were blessed with their son Tristan, who Stuart often referred to as "my boy."

Stuart loved spending time with family and friends, going to the gym lifting weights, coaching Tristan in football, watching Tristan play lacrosse, playing video games, giving treats to his dogs, (Jax and Sadie) and spoiling his family. He had a true love for God, family, and country. He appreciated history and could talk for hours about current events. He delighted in a good joke, and had a dry sense of humor.
