Russell Craig Witzke, Jr.
Licensed Mortician, Owner- President
Russell Craig Witzke, Jr. or "Craig" as he is known, is a caring and experienced professional who understands that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to Craig and the staff of Candle Light Funeral Home.

Celia Kipp
General Manager, Funeral Director, Preneed Specialist
Celia joined the Candle Light family in 2021 after spending a decade working for a direct cremation provider. As a Catonsville native, she values the opportunity to support our community and strives to meet each family’s individual needs. In her free time, Celia enjoys listening to music, cooking, and playing with her dogs, Rosie and Beau.

Erin Nagy
Supervising Mortician, Funeral Director, Preneed Specialist
Erin was born and raised in Catonsville. She attended Western School of Technology and Environmental Science then, graduated from Catonsville Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science. Eventually getting her life insurance license. She prides herself in being able to help families celebrate the lives of their loved ones. Erin resides in Halethorpe with her daughter, Lilliana and Vizsla, Doug. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, watching wrestling and cheering on all teams Baltimore.

Lily Johnson
Funeral Apprentice
Lily is a student at Community College of Baltimore County and will graduate with her degree in Mortuary Science in 2025. She finds value in serving others first and helping families remember their loved ones in a meaningful way. In her free time, Lily enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and taking long walks in nature.

Janey Zakowsky
Receptionist
Janey was born and raised in Alabama. A huge University of Alabama football fan. She answered her calling for funeral service in the 90’s. Janey’s caring and professional attitude is appreciated throughout the community. Roll Tide!

Joe Chilcoat
Funeral Assistant
Joe is a proud Catonsville resident who has owned several small businesses in the area. He now assists with visitations and funeral masses as a way of giving back to the community.

Eden Robinson
Funeral Assistant
Eden was born and raised in Sykesville, Maryland. She attends both Liberty High School and Century High School. She grew up around funeral homes due to having a mortician parent and have been working in funeral homes since she was 14. She enjoys being able to help others and working at the funeral homes helps show her how to help individuals, families and the community. In her free time she enjoys running, skating, and being outdoors.
